Behringer Fcb1010 For Dummies

  1. FCB/UnO Control Center lets you manage setups for the original FCB1010 and for the 'UnO equipped' FCB1010. (see www.fcb1010.eu to learn about UnO) Both a native Mac version and a native Windows version are available. The editor design focuses on usability.

  3. THIS is how to setup Behringer FCB1010/Ableton/Looper Post by Exstus » Thu Sep 19, 2013 2:08 am I can't believe no one has posted this before so, after searching and searching, and beating my head against it to figure it out, here is the way to setup the Behringer FCB1010 pedalboard to control ableton & the looper effect.

News feed software for mac. Behringer DeepMind 12 Editor and Controller by Momo is a Virtual Instrument and a Virtual Effect Audio Plugin and a Standalone Application for macOS and Windows. /steinberg-vst-plugins-gratis.html. It functions as a VST Plugin, an Audio Units Plugin and a Standalone Application. As I'd like to not have to do this in a live setting, is it possible to somehow use an old Behringer FCB 1010 midi controller to do this? I know I can program the FCB1010 to change actual presets on the H9 but what about presets saved into certan lists I have created with H9 control app? I'm probably making this to confusing. Ctrlr Patch Saver VST plugin for Behringer Odyssey, Poly D, Neutron, Pro-1, K2 and Model D. It’s easy to assume when a product says it has “Comprehensive USB/Midi implementation” that you can actually address parameters and save/recall patches via. Right, I've just had a buddy show me around Amplitube 4 (as I was looking at getting a new amp). He mainly uses it for Amp modelling purposes only however I intend on using it more for stomp boxes.
What has left me massively stumped (and unwilling to purchase the software) is that I have yet to see a solution for controlling the stomp boxes and wah pedals.
I must make it clear at this point that I am on PC - Windows 10.
I am aware that the Blueboard exists (not compatible for PC).
Stealth Products were extremely expensive for what they do (IMO - YMMV) and as far as I can tell are discontinued anyway.
Other solutions seem to be setting up Behringer FCB1010 or Line 6 products, but I've yet to see this look slick and easy to do!!
So, really, my question is this - how does IK Multimedia actually suggest I control my pedal boxes and wah with my feet to make their product, Amplitube 4, useful? Or am I expected to stop playing and control effects using my keyboard or mouse?
This seems like a huge oversight in an otherwise great looking piece of software - I mean, I really want it, but not much point if I can't control the thing.
Thanks allI can't believe no one has posted this before so, after searching and searching, and beating my head against it to figure it out, here is the way to setup the Behringer FCB1010 pedalboard to control ableton & the looper effect.
KEY POINT: Assign MIDI note values to be transmitted by the pedals, rather than control change (CC) values! If you assign CC values to control looper or other parts of ableton live, it freaks out and does unpredictable things. (at least in my experience) The correct way to setup the pedalboard is to dedicate a MIDI channel for this that you will not be using for anything else.then when you press a pedal, it transmits a note on that MIDI channel, such as C-2 (the lowest note available on a piano) or middle C (aka C3), and so on.
_____________
SELECTING THE MIDI CHANNEL TO TRANSMIT YOUR CHANGES
1) As you power on the FCB1010, keep the DOWN footswitch pressed for a few seconds. This enters the Global Configuration menu, and will allow you to change the MIDI transmit channel. The DIRECT SELECT (green led) lights up.
2) Press the UP footswitch once to navigate to MIDI FUNCTION. The MIDI FUNCTION led will flash.
3) Press the 10/0 footswitch to select the MIDI Note Function. The red light for the footswitch you pressed will start to blink.
4) Press UP/ENTER to confirm your choice. The MIDI CHANNEL led will light up.
5) Choose the MIDI channel you desire by using the numerical footswitches. Enter a number that you do not anticipate using for anything else. Your selected number will be displayed.
6) Press UP/ENTER to confirm your choice.
7) Press and hold the DOWN/ESCAPE footswitch to save your changes

4) Press UP/ENTER to verify that you wish to edit this preset.
